Don’t miss this experience if you enjoy the outdoors. The best tour to explore Thailand’s natural beauty takes you through and around Khao Sok National Park. This itinerary includes three days and two nights in the national park; it is a gentle adventure that highlights some of the best in southern Thailand. Explore the old rain forest, cruise through crystal clear waters, hike to the cave, and take advantage of the opportunity to bathe and interact with elephants. We are certain that this will be the ideal excursion to visit some of Thailand’s undiscovered attractions, including a trip to an inland sanctuary secluded from the busy beaches, Khaosok is a hidden jewel that we would love to share with you.

Equipment

We recommend you bring a camera, sun block location, sun glasses, sutable shoes, hat/cap and extra clothes & towel. Please feel free to bring anything else necessary to you.

Itinerary

Day 1: Elephant bathing+ Overnight at Khao Sok 

• 07.00 – 08.30 a.m. Pick up from your hotel by air-conditioned vehicle. (Departure time varies by hotel location.)
• Dropped by Sarasin Bridge to take a little relax or toilet.
• Visited Tsunami Memorial Site (Tor. 813)
• Visited Monkey Cave temple
• Arrived at Khaosok Elephant Camp and enjoy spending time with elephant bathing (approximately 45 min.-1 hr)
• Stopped at Khaosok a scenic viewpoint. (great panoramic view of Khaosok)
• 12.00 pm. Enjoy your Lunch at a local restaurant.
• Started bamboo rafting down the river of Khaosok (chance to spot a flora & fauna, limestone cliff mountains along the way) (approximate 0.45-1 hrs.)
• 14.00 pm. Check in at accommodation in Khao Sok.
• 19.00 pm. Dinner then pleasuring with the sounds of the jungle

Day 2: Lake Explorer + overnight at floating cottage 

• 07.30- 08.30 a.m. Breakfast
• 09.00 a.m. Jungle Hiking on foot in Khaosok National Park, an inland haven tucked away from the
• Thronging beach crowds, Khaosok is Thailand’s secret jewel. This ancient rainforest dates
• back 160 million years and it wears its age well. Enchanting Plants, Flowers, Butterfly,
• Birds, Squirrels, Reptiles, etc. awaits your discovery. (approximate 3- hrs.)
• 12.00 pm. Lunch at Khao sok Restaurant and check out from the camps & Depart for Cheow Larn Lake.
• Arrive at pier then board on Long Tail boat to cruise the turquoise water of Cheow Larn Lake.
• Free time at leisure & Self-paddle canoe adventure around the floating hut, nature watching relax,
• Swimming in the fresh water lake.
• 19.00 pm. Dinner and Overnight at the rafthouse.

Day 3: Morning safari + Transfer to the mainland 

• 07.00-08.00 a.m. Breakfast & check out from the rafthouse.
• Hopped on Long tail Boat for wildlife safari at Cheow Larn Lake in the morning.
• Sightseeing the stalagmites at Prakaypet Cave (Diamond cave) which is how the cave came to be named. (Easy access for children but be careful for the slippery wet floor).
• Spend 30 minutes cave exploring (a small cave but great formations).
• Start journey back by long tail boat, spotted Cheow-Larn Lake Scenic View.
• Stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
• 15.00-16.00 pm. Transfer back to your hotel in Phuket or Krabi with a pleasant trip!!
