Description

During the course of these three days, you will learn how to become a certified diver by gaining all of the necessary fundamental knowledge of scuba diving. This will be accomplished by learning the fundamental principles of diving as well as some basic diving abilities. We will instruct you on how to conduct yourself in a manner that is responsible and safe while diving in the water. You will learn about marine awareness in our ECO Dive Center so that you may get familiar with the regulations governing conservation (Coral life course).

The application will guide you through the process of exploring an entirely new environment and locating your own unique path within it. We will work with you at a comfortable pace to earn your first scuba certification. The first day of the course will be spent with you acquiring both theory and underwater abilities. The next two days are going to be the most enjoyable part of this course because you are going to get to go on four full dives with your instructor and some other students. Discover the underwater world and get to know its inhabitants!

• Travel insurance (cover against cancellation costs, medical expenses, including repatriation, in the event of accident or illness). We highly recommend you arrange appropriate insurance in your home country
• National park fee for Koh Haa / Hin Deang (applicable per day): 400 THB for passenger & Snorkeler, 600 THB for divers.
• National park fee for PhiPhi area: package 3 days 400 THB (everyone) + 200 THB per day for divers.
• Insurance available for 150 THB per day. Cover all diving expenses in case of diving incident only (Copy of passport needed).

Equipment

You will use all the basic scuba equipment and a diving computer during your open water dives. You will be able to buy your own mask in our retail shop as it is always better when it fits the face properly. A buoyancy compensating jacket that holds your scuba tank, a scuba regulator that delivers air, a weight system and instrumentation to monitor depth and air supply will be used also. We will provide you with a short wetsuit as well.  We will give you a special 10% discount on anything you want to invest within our retail shop!

Itinerary

Day 1:

Theory and Confined water practice

Morning session: Completing the theory part by watching different sections and revising your knowledge.

Afternoon session: Fun with confined water! Meet the entire requirement by completing the confined water with the following skills:

• Skin Diving
• Equipment Preparation and Care
• Surface protocols
• Underwater skills in shallow water
• Underwater skills in deep water
• Surface skills in deep water

Day 2 and 3:

We offer 2 dives per day to complete your required 4 Open Water Dives. These dives will not be at more than 12m depth (max depth for Junior Open Diver) and you will perform in the natural environment some of the skills you complete the previous day.

Schedule of the day:

• Setting up of your scuba equipment under your instructor’s supervision
• Learning about dive briefing
• Open Water Dives by applying dive planed
• Make a safety stop by using a buoy line
• Rinsing properly a diving equipment
• Debriefing of the day
• Final exams
