Description

Have you ever entertained the thought of giving scuba diving a shot? With our Discover Scuba Diving in One Day programme, you will be able to take advantage of everything the Andaman Sea has to offer, from its stunning coral formations to its dazzling variety of marine life. After one of our knowledgeable and experienced instructors walks you through some fundamental information and techniques with the goal of getting you to a point where you are comfortable breathing underwater, you will head out into the open sea to take your first scuba dive. This programme includes two dives, and the maximum depth that you can reach is twelve metres. Both dives are included in the price of the programme.

You will be taught the fundamentals of scuba diving by a PADI Professional who will guide you through the process step-by-step. During this training, you will discover, among other things, that it is not only possible, but also completely safe, to breathe underwater.

• Travel insurance (cover against cancellation costs, medical expenses, including repatriation, in the event of accident or illness). We highly recommend you arrange appropriate insurance in your home country
• National park fee for Koh Haa / Hin Deang (applicable per day): 400 THB for passenger & Snorkeler, 600 THB for divers.
• National park fee for PhiPhi area: package 3 days 400 THB (everyone) + 200 THB per day for divers.
• Insurance available for 150 THB per day. Cover all diving expenses in case of diving incident only (Copy of passport needed).

Equipment

You will use all the same basic scuba equipment that regular certified divers do. We have special masks, fins, snorkels, buoyancy compensating jacket and wet suits in all sizes. A mask that fits perfectly with your face is a big advantage, and we will give you a special 10% discount on this and every other purchase within our retail shop.

Theory and confined water practice

• Learn what wearing scuba equipment feels like and how easy it is to move around underwater while wearing it.
• Find out what it is like to breathe underwater and learn whether you can be comfortable there.
• Learn some basic skills and safety rules that will carry you over to your full scuba certification course when you take the next step.
