Experience the thrill of this track time event before facing off against fellow motorcyclists during the ultimate track weekend at Thailand’s longest permanent racing track. When conditions allow, accelerate quickly around the track. motorcyclists of all skill levels, from novices to seasoned veterans, have easy access to the trail. This is the perfect opportunity for any rider who has the goal of reaching high speeds on the track during their time here.

Requirements:

  • DOT Full Face Helmet
  • One Piece or Zip Together Two Piece Leathers
  • Motorcycle Specific Boots/Gloves
  • Clean Motorcycle (No leaks)
  • Remove Fuses or Tape Off Lights
  • Tape wheel weights
  • Tires with good tread depth
  • Brakes with good pads and rotors
  • Chain Lubricated with no kinks/Sprockets no worn

What’s included

  • Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch

What’s NOT included

  • All services not mentioned as included and all items of a personal nature
  • Any Alcoholic beverages
  • Any extra items purchased in hotels, souvenir shops and other such establishments
  • Travel insurance (cover against cancellation costs, medical expenses, including repatriation, in the event of accident or illness). We highly recommend you arrange appropriate insurance in your home country
  • You will NOT be provided with a bike
  • Track Time Thailand (TT.org) does not provide medical insurance. All riders are responsible for providing their own personal medical coverage.

Track Rules and Regulations:

Three main classes are distinguished in the Time Track Racing

  • Novice – wear a green patch
  • Intermediate – wear a yellow patch
  • Specialist – wearing a red patch

Experienced instructors will be available to help identify which category is best for you and will provide advise and guidance as you prepare for your race.

Jackets Colour Code:

  • Blue – Instructors
  • Orange – Safety Crew
  • Yellow/Blue – Track Time Organisers

Rules: 

1 – Behave

  • This is a Track Time day. It is not a Race-All-Day.
  • See this event as a gathering with racing moments
  • Explore the Track, enjoy the company of each other and be a gentlemen in your interactions.

2 – No Booze

  • Absolutely no Alcohol is permitted during track time
  • This applies to everyone, not just riders

3 – Helmet

  • If you are riding the motorbike anywhere on the grounds – you must wear a HELMET.
  • Otherwise push the bike

4 – Ride your own bike

  • Do not swap bikes with other riders or those who are not registered for the event.

5 – Entering the track

  • There is only one place to enter the track.
  • Always enter in a group
  • No solo entry on track is permitted during Track Time Sessions

6 – The Pit Lane

  • When leaving the track or moving to the pit lane – raise you left arm to signal you are exciting.
  • If you miss the pit lane – go full circle and around again. Under NO circumstances are you allowed to U-turn.
  • A U-turn on track will endanger your life and lives of approaching riders.

7 – Passing rules

  • Riders can pass each other from the inside and outside.
  • A minimum of 2 meters between riders must be obeyed when overtaking.
  • If space is not available to over take please wait until a better opportunity

8 – Flags

  • Yellow flag = changed track condition
  • If the yellow flag is stationary = low risk, minor incident away from main line.
    If the yellow flag is being lightly waved – proceed with caution.
  • Strong and fast waving of the yellow flag = extreme caution!
    This means that an object or an incident is on your line of approach.
  • No overtaking is allowed during any yellow flag condition.
  • Yellow flag striped with orange = Signals the presence of debris or a slippery fluids on the track surface ahead.
  • Blue flag = a much faster rider is behind you.
  • Black flag = issue with bike or rider – THAT MEANS YOU!
    Exit immediately to the pit lane come and go to see race marshal.
    Black flag with orange circle = A technical problem with you or your bike.
  • Red Flag = An extreme danger!
  • Immediately pull off the track!
  • Red flag means emergency end of session! It is not safe to continue. Get off the track immediately!
  • NO OVERTAKING IS ALLOWED under the Red Flag conditions.
  • Chequered flag = end of session – you won!

9 – Incidents on track

  • If there is an incident, do not stop and help
  • If you have crashed, move to a safe place
  • Keep your helmet on and go to the tire wall

10 – No stunts

  • No Stoppies, No wheelies and No burnouts

11 – Refueling

  • No refueling in Pit Lane or Paddocks

12 – Starting a session

  • Line up in two lines
  • Wait for the track entry signal
  • Do not entry the track by yourself

13 – Entering the Pit Lane

  • Pit Lane is one direction only
  • No U-turns in the pit lane
