One of the primary draws of Phuket as a vacation destination for visitors is the opportunity to do scuba diving there, and we can’t say that we blame them. Because of the high calibre of the diving in Phuket, the island has long been a popular destination for scuba divers. As a direct result of this, we are fortunate enough to be able to provide excellent Phuket diving opportunities for divers of all skill levels. Not only that, but diving in Phuket is available throughout the entire year, which means you may experience some of the best diving in Phuket during any month of the year.

Racha Yai is the closest, and it is a boat away from Chalong that takes only 90 minutes. It offers various dive sites, each of which is special in their own way. There is not only Bay 1 with its shipwrecks and even an underwater motor bike, but there is also Siam Bay, which is known for its underwater elephants. PADI Open Water Course, PADI Discover Scuba Diving, and PADI Advanced Open Water are all excellent choices for diving experiences that may be had in Phuket. This is due to the nearly ideal diving conditions that can be found at these several dive sites in Phuket. Those of you who are participating in the PADI Poseidon Rebreather Course will also be making your initial dives in this location. This is due, once again, to the fact that the island’s dive spots offer shallow dives within protected coves.

Itinerary

• Hotel pick ups start time is usually 07:30 from Kamala and Patong, with the boat departing from Chalong Pier around 08:30.
• The boat usually leaves Racha Yai Bay at 14:45 being back in Chalong around 16:00.
