When you’re feeling rusty in your scuba diving skills, it can be helpful to do some fun diving to get back in the swing of things. Dive enthusiasts of all skill levels will find that the local islands of Koh Lipe offer some of the best conditions for underwater exploration. Everyone can find something to their liking on Koh Lipe, whether they are interested in trying scuba diving for the first time, brushing up on their skills after taking some time off, or looking for new experiences as experienced divers. Diving off of Koh Lipe is one of the most enjoyable experiences possible. The tropical water is usually clear and warm, and there is a rich variety of marine life to be found in these waters. From Koh Lipe, divers can access more than 30 different dive sites that are located within the national park that protects Koh Tarutao. The well-known diving spot known as Hin Paet Mai, also known as Eight Mile Rock, can be found directly adjacent to the Malay Peninsula border and is located approximately 8 miles away from Koh Lipe. This solitary pinnacle rises more than fifty metres above the surrounding water and is home to a wide variety of fish, ranging from smaller reef fish to larger Mobula Rays, which are also referred to as Devil Rays. This large ray is a close relative of the Oceanic Manta Ray, which is slightly larger, and seeing one while you are scuba diving will leave you with a smile that won’t go away for a long time.

This exciting diving adventure is a wonderful way to spend the day getting back into the swing of things when it comes to scuba diving. Ideal for serious scuba divers of any level.
