Description

An amazing bike tour that goes around Chiang Mai’s Samoeng Loop and takes you through the back roads to the Mae Sa Elephant Camp, where you can feed the elephants and watch them bathe while you’re there. This tour is a must-do for anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Lunch will be provided by a neighbourhood restaurant, and it will consist of traditional Thai fare. After that, you will make your way to the temple of Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, which is considered to be the most revered of all the temples in Chiang Mai, along the winding and narrow roads that offer views of the surrounding mountains. Over one thousand metres above ground, the temple provides visitors with breathtaking vistas in every direction.

A minimum of one rider is required to book this trip, with a maximum of 10 people per booking.

Gear

We recommend bringing your own gear as it will be the most comfortable, however we do offer helmets, jackets, gloves, and knee guards free of charge. Please note that due to reasons of hygeine, we do not offer boots and trousers, however these, and many other items are available to buy in our show or pre-order on our website.

Itinerary

An early morning meet and pick up from the Hotel Amora Tapae Chiang Mai, the tour will then start at 08:30. You will head North of Chiang Mai to the Elephant Sanctuary, following this you will have lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon will be a ride through the mountains on the Samoeng Loop, to the Wat Prathat Doi Suthep temple. The group will then head back to the Hotel Amora Tapae with an amporximate arrival of 16:00/17:00.
